While our main focus is breeding and showing the best Quarter Horses we can find, we also have our band of Tennessee Walking Horses that we show flat shod, as well as pleasure/trail ride. Leron "married" into the walking horses and although he is a Quarter Horse purist even he admits he likes to trail ride on a walking horse. We believe in the Naturally gaited TWH and are 100% opposed to Big Lick/Soring faction of the Walking horse world.
Betsy's Legacy aka" Legacy" Out of Betsys Misty Lady and by Right Connection, Legacy was born in 2000 and was the grandcolt of Megans beloved first horse Treasurers Betsy. When Betsy passed away at age 24 Megan did a bloodline search and found Legacy. Legacy is marked just like Betsy was and has the same wonderful disposition as his Granddam. Legacy was Megan's stallion up until he was gelded in 2013. Legacy sired four foals-all colts- two owned by us and two owned by others (pictured below) and all with his incredibly intelligent and kind demeanor. Legacy is enjoying his laid back life as a gelding and has became Megan's favorite sure-footed and smooth riding trail mount.

Legacy's Ladies Man
aka "Manny" is the first born son by Legacy and out of Kings Red Lady. Manny is also the first baby born here at the farm. Manny is the most loveable animal you will ever meet. He is super smart and super sweet and super furry. He has both his dam and sires good sense and kind nature and has his sires trademark blaze and two hind stockings. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/legacys+ladies+man |
"Glissando" is the second colt that was born on the farm and is a Full Brother to Manny and was Legacy's last colt before being gelded. Glissando, like his brother is a total sweetheart and is very people oriented. He is built very correct. He was born almost a month late and was a monster sized baby.

Last....but certainly not least are our cattle. Some folks have dogs as pets.... we have 2 spoiled rotten cows. Ever since Megan was a teenager in animal science class she always wanted a Jersey cow. Even before she had even officially closed on buying the farm she had already bought a 3 month old Purebred Jersey calf she had found off craigslist. "Snookie" is now 9 years old and is really the heart and soul of the farm. Stubborn as a mule and nosy as a investigative reporter, Snookie is always right in the middle of everything that goes on here at Ross Vegas. When in milk she was once giving 6 gallons a day...after a year and eight months of milking she was dried off. Snookies milk was incredibly rich and Megan made some amazing ice cream, butter, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese from it.
"Sprinkles" is a Angus/Hereford mix calf that we bought to nurse Snookie when Snookies calf was stillborn in April of 2014. However despite multiple efforts Snookie would not accept Sprinkles . So Sprinkles became our bottle baby. She was one of the cutest calves we have ever seen. Sprinkles has grown like a weed and is now larger than Snookie. Sprinkles is our "naughty" cow and likes to play rough.
